A 1 1/2 mile oak avenue led to the Wormsloe Plantation of Noble Jones, who arrived in Georgia Colony with his family and colony founder James Oglethorpe, in 1733. Spaniards, Catholics, lawyers, and Slavery were  banned from the colony. All others were welcome...
